Conference 2025 Lodging
We encourage all attendees to book their stay early to take advantage of the negotiated rates which have made it possible for CALICO ‘25 to be hosted in San Diego.
Main Conference Hotel
Deadline for reservations: April 25, 2025.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego-Mission Valley is our conference hotel, located just steps away from the Hazard Center Trolley Station, which connects directly to the SDSU Main Campus via Green Line. Participants can book their stay at the special conference rate for dates May 28 through May 30, 2025. Additional nights can be reserved 3 days prior and 3 days following the conference dates, at the negotiated rate, based upon availability.

Special Conference Rate: $189.00 per night plus taxes. Please note the conference rate does not apply to Saturday night which will be charged a regular rate.

* Cancellations require a 3 day notice in order to cancel reservations without penalty (the penalty fee is the equivalence of 1 night room and tax).

On-Campus Lodging

For a more affordable lodging option, Zura Hall dorms on the east side of SDSU’s main campus are available. Zura Hall is conveniently located about a 15-minute leisurely walk from Storm Hall, the primary venue for conference sessions, workshops, and keynote addresses. Dorm bookings at Zura include breakfast, served at The Garden, just steps away.
Participants can book lodging at Zura Hall at single, double, or triple occupancy, at the rates below:
- Single occupancy rate: $97 per person per night (50 rooms available)
- Double occupancy rate: $78 per person per night (10 rooms available/2 beds per room)
- Triple occupancy (limited) rate: $72 per person per night (2 rooms available)

Reservations for on-campus dorm accommodations will be made directly through CALICO. Payment required at time of reservation and there will be no refunds for cancellations after April 30th.
